Rain and Ripples Part II: Color
A study of the elegant patterns of ripples supplemented by vibrant bursts of color. The goal was to let go of the form of the fish and allow their shape to become so obliterated that it served as an ambiguous mass of color rather than the pieces’ subject matter. The ripples remain the focus and lead the composition while the color simply serves to add interest.
